Martina has been featured in print, radio and television interviews about her books, literacy, reading, historical themes, bullying, and women’s issues. She came to the U.S. with her parents to escape communism, and she’s always eager to share her love for the empowerment, freedom, and opportunities of her adopted country.


She’s available for visits, workshops, and talks for events ranging from intimate to large and for ages from middle school to adult. Visits can be in person, via Skype, or via Google Hangout. She offers three visits a year free to Title 1 schools on a first come, first booked basis.
