Martina has been featured in magazine, print, radio and television interviews about her books, literacy, reading, historical themes, bullying, and women’s issues. She came to the United States with her parents to escape communism, and she is always eager to share her love for the empowerment, creative freedom, and opportunity of her adopted country and the English language.
She is available for festivals, bookstore visits, school visits, workshops, and keynotes for event sizes ranging from intimate groups of ten to hundreds and for ages from middle school to adult. Visits can be in person, via Skype, or via Google Hangout. She offers three visits a year free to Title 1 schools on a first come, first booked basis.
