A Great Charity Event and a Chance to Hang Out with 25 YA Authors

Nori Horvitz, a student at Moorestown High School and a contributor to The Intelligencer newspaper, is organizing a great charity event to revitalize a library in a low-income school in Camden County, New Jersey. I’m delighted to be one of the twenty-five authors who will be featured at the event.

Bookitcon will consist of author signings, meet-and-greets, an after-party and a concurrent book drive, will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Moorestown Community House at 16 E. Main St. Guests with VIP tickets get dinner with the authors as well. There’s more information here.

Nori was also kind enough to include an interview with me in the newspaper in advance of the event. Want to know   what message I want to pass on to readers who struggle with reading and/or English in general? Or what advice I’d give to struggling aspiring authors (since I know that feeling well myself)?
